PackFlow Refresh 2023 Glass

The PackFlow Refresh 2023 reports provide governments, industry, and stakeholders with robust evidence on packaging material flows, recycling, and compliance risks. Produced to support Defra’s packaging policy work, the project updates the baseline year to 2022 for packaging placed on the market (POM), collections, recycling, and end markets.

Phase 2 of the project develops scenarios to 2028, assessing risks against recycling targets. This report focuses on UK glass packaging, offering detailed estimates of POM and recycling in both domestic and overseas markets. With error margins and robustness checks, the study delivers reliable insights for future policy and industry planning.
