PackFlow COVID-19 Glass Phase Report

The PackFlow Covid-19 reports examine the impact of the pandemic and recession on UK packaging flows, collections, recycling, and compliance risks. Produced to support Defra, governments, and industry, they provide evidence on how Covid-19 affected packaging recycling performance and end markets.

Phase I updates the baseline year to 2019, while Phase II explores the effects of lockdown, projecting packaging flows and recycling scenarios through to 2022. This report focuses on UK glass packaging, providing robust POM estimates, recycling levels in the UK and abroad, and insights into glass end markets. Error margins and robustness checks are included.
